Cyclopean Eye Productions and Mahatobar Distribution have come together to organize a gig, the first of its kind, solely dedicated to Classic Metal. Named ‘High Voltage’, this gig will feature some of the prominent names in the metal scene, like Kryptos, Dying Embrace, Gaia’s Throne, Amorphia and Against Evil.

Co-headliners Dying Embrace will be celebrating their 25th anniversary since their formation in 1991 and are slated to play their entire past discography as a part of the celebrations for their fans. Headliners Kryptos who are in the finishing stages of their fourth full length album, will be performing a selection of tracks from their new album along with staple crowd favorites.
The show is also supported by the Progressive Sci-fi Metal band Gaia’s Throne from Pune, who strive to push the envelope with their music set to the backdrop of a self-crafted science fiction universe.

Thrash Metallers Amorphia from Alleppey, Kerala, play some good old school thrash. They are currently recording for their upcoming debut album “Human shields “ releasing on December 2016. Heavy Metal powerhouse Against Evil are from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. They formed in 2014 and released their first album a year after that, titled “Fatal Assault”. They will be playing songs from this album at this show.

High Voltage

Like the past few gigs like Trendslaughter Fest, Doom over Bangalore and Echoes from Beneath, this show too will live up to its name and will give metalheads an evening to remember. The organizers promise excellent sound and light production, and the past few gigs are proof to the fact that they will deliver what they promise.
