Chennai based metal band Blind Image have just issued an update about their upcoming release. A follow up to their debut from 2008, titled Psychobabble, the band is in the process of working on their second album. Though still untitled, it will be a concept album with a promise of being heavier than the first.

In an exclusive update issued to Headbangers India, Blind Image has revealed a few details about the upcoming release. This new album has been based on a futuristic concept revolving around a Particle accelerator (Large Hardon Collider) experiment taking place in Geneva. The concept, they say, is a mix of the real facts from the experiment and our perception about the entire process.

About the music- it will definitely be heavier than the previous album, and with an entirely different style as well. The primary influences on the music are bands like Sikth, Meshuggah, Textures and so on. At the same time, they’ve also maintained their strong melodic sense forming a perfect blend of multiple elements.

Blind Image is expected to release the album by the end of July or the first week of August this year.
