Anyway, back to the news. MTV has just come out with their answer to Channel V’s ‘Launch Pad’. And its called Kurkure Desi Beats Rock On. (Guffaw, now).
‘Rock On’ has successfully managed to make all Indians think they’re the cool rockstar types. And the hunt for this same type, on MTV, will be judged by Kailash Kher, Ram Sampat (of Colourblind) and VJ Nikhil.
The audition dates are as follows:
July 9 – Swabhumi Heritage Plaza, Kolkata
July 12 – Ambedkar Bhavan, New Delhi
July 15 – Jnana Jyoti Auditorium, Bengaluru
July 19 – MTV Studios, Mumbai
