Chaos is a thrash metal band from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, formed in 2005 and active for two decades as one of India’s longest-running thrash acts, mixing old-school thrash aggression with modern groove metal precision. Its lyrics take on anti-religion, politics and society.
After a 2009 demo, the band released its debut full-length Violent Redemption in 2013, followed by All Against All in 2017 and the single ‘Rise from the Ashes’ in 2020. Third album Bane of Humanity arrived in August 2026, preceded by the 2026 singles ‘It’s Time for War’ and ‘Consume Conform’. The title track of the debut appeared on the Headbangers India Volume II compilation CD in 2016, and the band was billed at Metal Assault the same year.
