Culminant is an old school death and thrash metal band from Bangalore, formed in June 2007 when Pranay and Sudarshan joined up with vocalist Bharad, with Pranay’s brother Deep on drums. The band set out to make honest, in-your-face aggressive thrash and death metal with old school sensibilities.

Lineup changes dogged the band through its early years, with guitarist and solo artist Umanath Kamath among those passing through on bass before a stable five-piece settled in 2010. Culminant became a regular on the Bangalore gig circuit, billed at Trend Slaughter Fest and Undergrind, and sharing a Riff ‘Em All bill with Kryptos, Dying Embrace, Bevar Sea and Gorified in October 2011. The latest activity found in checked sources dates to 2011; the band’s current status is unverified.
