Guillotine is a progressive death metal band from New Delhi, formed in 2007 from the remains of earlier outfit 1 Fret Higher. The band released the album The Cynic in 2010, a three-tier concept about a man’s realization of the hollowness of religious faith.
After a quiet period, Guillotine regrouped in 2014 to work on a new album, which has not surfaced in checked sources. The most recent activity found dates to 2014, so the band’s current status is unconfirmed.
