Former members
Inviktus is a Bengaluru metal band formed in February 2005, inspired by the 2004 Freedom Jam. Named after William Ernest Henley’s poem Invictus, the band made its reputation on the college competition circuit: it placed first at its debut competition in Manipal and reached the finals of Vibrations at IISc and the 2005 Strawberry Fields, where it shared the stage with Junkyard Groove and Demonic Resurrection.
After the original lineup disbanded, Inviktus re-formed in mid-2007 with Prasad on vocals, Rajeev and Anush on guitars, Ramanan on bass and Subbu on drums, going on to play Rock Ethos and Octoberfest and headline college festivals. The latest activity found in checked sources dates to the late 2000s; the band’s current status is unverified.
