Spitfire

Spitfire is a Bengaluru metalcore band formed in 2005 by school friends Vibhas and Suhas, playing its first gig at the August Sunday Jam that year. Its sound mixed metalcore with death metal and nu-metal edges.

The single ‘Burn It’ appeared on EMP Records’ Absolute Indian Metal 1 compilation in 2006, and ‘Minds In Disguise’ was shortlisted for The Indian Metal Compilation in 2009. The band played Bengaluru bills through the decade, including Rock Ethos 2009 and Unseen Underground Pub Fest VI in 2010, before continuing under the new name Xector. The band’s current status is unverified.
