It seems like India is a new favorite destination for the big guns of metal. Especially for the thrash bands. After Kreator, Slayer and Megadeth, not to forget Metallica last October, now the legendary Testament are set to headline Bacardi NH7 Weekender in Bangalore on the 15th of December along with Periphery.
The gig is on the same day as the Indian Metal Festival which features Gojira and Cerebral Bore along with a host of other bands. This is surely gonna leave the fans in a pickle, especially fans of both the headliners. But that does little to take the focus away from the fact that one of the most celebrated and anticipated thrash bands of all time will take the stage and unleash the dark roots of earth.

Folks, is there no way you can persuade the Banaglore organisers to have Testament and Gojira on seperate days. I am from Mumbai and will be travelling to Bangaolore and am torn between Testament (oldskool fan) & Gojira (fave new deathmetal band)…If they still clash i will end up going for Gojira as I like their environmental cause.
