Swiss folk metal gauls Eluveitie have announced a return to Indian shores with 2 headlining performances at NIT Calicut and IIT Roorkee. The former will take place on the 27th of March at NIT Calicut‘s annual cultural festival Ragam while the latter will take place on the 29th of March at IIT Roorkee‘s annual fest Cognizance. In 2010, the band had headlined IIT Guwahati’s Alcheringa.
Eluveitie will be performing on the back of their 2014 release Origins, the band’s sixth full-length release. Their massive eight-member line-up include a violinist, a hurdy gurdy player and a flautist. They will be managed for this India tour by Orka Networks, the same folks who are bringing Xandria down to India and have also been responsible for managing other artistes like Gojira, Bloodshot Dawn and Hacride.
