Jayaprakash ‘JP’ Sathyamurthy has decided to part ways with Bevar Sea due to personal reasons. With JP’s departure the band has zeroed in on Avinash R Menon. Avinash, a guitar player in his previous avatar with Kashaayam (now defunct), is fresh out of Swarnabhoomi Music Academy, Chennai, where he studied the bass. He will make his debut at Impending Doom II. Say the band “We have known Avi for a while now, and he was the first person who came to our mind when we began thinking of a replacement. He’s into the music, a genuine rock ‘n’ roller!”

Bevar Sea are in the process of finishing their debut, homegrown release – the details of which will be revealed closer to release. Bevar Sea has been booked to do a tribute to the founders all that is heavy – Black Sabbath, on the 15th of October in Madras.

Human at sight. Idiot at heart.
