FALLEN LETTERS release new single ‘Hiraeth’

Bengaluru progressive metal band FALLEN LETTERS have released their new single, Hiraeth’, out now on all streaming platforms via Alterfate Records. The track follows their July release ‘A Familiar Absence’ and is the band’s second single since their 2025 debut album Mindfractures.

The word ‘hiraeth’ is a Welsh term for ‘a deep longing for a home that may be lost forever’. The nearly six-minute track moves between atmospheric, restrained passages and soaring melodic peaks. It was written by the band, with lyrics and production by vocalist Vishal Naidu, and mixed and mastered by Johan Martin at Punch Sector Studios in Sweden.

The single arrives weeks after the band’s biggest show yet, opening for Swedish progressive metal legends OPETH at their Bengaluru concert on 4th October.
