MEGADETH ‘Looking At Going Back To India’, Says Dave Mustaine
Dave Mustaine says MEGADETH are “looking at going back to India” as part of the band’s ongoing farewell tour.
Speaking to Eddie Trunk on SiriusXM’s Trunk Nation on October 15, Mustaine outlined the band’s touring plans:
We’re gonna be doing the States, we’re gonna be going back to Europe, we’re gonna be going down into the Asian territories… We’re looking at going back to India.
No India date has been announced in the sources checked so far.
Megadeth have four documented India visits: Rock ’N India, Bangalore (2008); Bacardi NH7 Weekender, Greater Noida (2012); MTV Xtreme, Greater Noida (2014); and a four-city run in 2015 covering Shillong, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Kolkata.
The band released their seventeenth and final studio album, Megadeth, in January, their first Billboard 200 No. 1. The farewell tour runs into 2028, with Black Label Society, Testament, Anthrax and Kerry King joining upcoming legs.
