The Unseen Underground Pub Fest, held regularly in Chennai has a reputation for violent metal shows and the 6th edition, held on 2nd May 2010 was no different. Featuring Frank’s Got The Funk (funk rock), Blind Image (technical thrash metal), Spitfire (metalcore) and Escher’s Knot (technical death metal), the gig was brutal, destructive and intense, everything you want in a show. 1322
Chennai-ites welcomed the New Year with the first ever overnight gig- Unseen Underground Ragnarok ‘09 (in association with Fa Men Xtreme). The show featured seven Indian metal bands who kicked off 2010 with a bang, with the help of pure music and live performances.
The fifth edition of Unseen Underground Pub Fest happened at Geoffrey’s pub in Chennai some time back. The event was another extreme metal treat for Chennai metalheads.
Chennai based metal band Blind Image have just issued an update about their upcoming release. A follow up to their debut from 2008, titled Psychobabble, the band is in the process of working on their second album. Though still untitled, it will be a concept album with a promise of being heavier than the first.
