UK progressive metal act Tesseract who put on one hell of a show in GIR last December are coming back to India for another gig. This time it’s the cultural festival of IIT Kharagpur that’s the venue. The date is 24th Jan, be there if you can make it, this promises to be one hell of a show.
Registrations are now open for one of the country’s biggest ever college rock competitions- IIT Kharagpur’s ‘Wildfire 2011’ which is a part of their annual cul-fest. Sringfest 2011. This is the same competition that has seen the rise of names like Parikrama, Pentagram, Albatross and Camouflage in the Indian rock scene.

Cash prizes of Rs. 70,000, an EP recording deal with Music Matters and instruments for the best instrumentalists are what winners can look forward to.
